Tess Downing, MBA, CFP® is the founder and lead financial advisor of Complete View Financial LLC in San Antonio, TX. She has worked with individuals and families from all different backgrounds such as high-commissioned sales professionals, retirees, and young professionals for more than a decade. Her passion for helping people make better money decisions is what led her to found Complete View Financial LLC.
Tess earned her Master of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University. She also graduated magna cum laude with her Bachelor of Science in Personal Financial Planning from TTU. Before founding Complete View Financial, she worked in the fee-only financial planning and investment management industry with highly reputable firms on the East Coast.
Tess is married to a salesman, throughout the last 13+ years she has learned many lessons that she is now able to pass on to her sales professional clients. Sales professionals must understand and maximize benefits from uncertain cash flows, sales incentives and changing compensation plans. Each month can bring a windfall of opportunity or personal financial stress if you are not planning properly. Tess aims to make the monthly ups and downs of commissions and sales incentives stress-free.

When she is not working with clients, Tess is with her family, her husband and two young daughters. Tess and her husband have their hands full and typically have busy weekends with swim parties, ballet, family visits and movie nights.
They love to travel and are now hoping to pass on that passion to their children. When she does manage to escape for a night, Tess enjoys trying the best new restaurants which then necessitates her being a body pump fanatic at her local gym.
